Steggy Terms of Use

License and scope

The Steggy app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). That agreement governs your license to the app, including permitted use, warranties, liability and termination. This page explains Steggy's services and subscriptions and does not replace or modify the Standard EULA. If this page conflicts with that agreement or mandatory law, that agreement or law prevails.

Fitness information and safe use

Steggy helps you understand walking activity and build personal habits. It is not a medical device or an emergency service. Steps, distance, calories, progress, weather and suggestions may be estimates, delayed, unavailable or inaccurate. They are not a diagnosis, treatment plan or individualized medical advice, and we do not promise a particular fitness, health or weight result.

Use your own judgment when choosing goals, walking routes and exercise intensity. Consider your health, surroundings and actual weather; do not rely on Steggy to determine whether an activity or location is safe. Consult a qualified health professional about medical concerns or suitable exercise. Stop exercising if you feel unwell and seek appropriate help. Virtual achievements and rewards have no cash value.

Steggy Pro subscriptions

Steggy offers optional monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Before you confirm a purchase, the App Store purchase screen shows the applicable price, currency, billing period and any eligible trial. The features included are described in the app. An annual subscription is charged as an annual total; a displayed monthly equivalent is only a price comparison.

Apple processes payments through your Apple account. Subscriptions renew unless canceled. A free trial, when offered and available to your account, converts to the paid subscription shown at purchase unless canceled in time. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current subscription period, following Apple's instructions.

Manage or cancel through Apple account subscription settings. Removing the app or deleting its data does not cancel billing. Use Restore Purchases in Steggy with the Apple account used for the purchase to restore available access. Billing disputes and refund requests are handled through Apple's refund process, subject to Apple's rules and your statutory rights. We cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you.

Availability and your data

Some features depend on Apple Health permissions, compatible devices, a paired Apple Watch, internet access or Apple services. Background updates and synchronization are controlled in part by iOS and watchOS and may be delayed. Revoking permissions can limit related features.

You control information you enter and destinations you choose for exports. Keep copies of information you wish to retain. Removing app data does not remove original Apple Health records or files already exported. Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

We may maintain, update or change Steggy as the service develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every future device or operating system. Any change affecting a paid service remains subject to the Standard EULA, Apple's subscription rules and applicable consumer law.

Rights and responsibility

Steggy's software, name, artwork and other original materials are protected by intellectual property law. Your right to use the app is the license in the Standard EULA. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls or infringe others' rights. This does not restrict uses that applicable law expressly permits.

The warranty disclaimers and liability limitations in the Standard EULA apply to the app, subject to applicable law. Nothing on this page excludes liability or limits remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights. You remain entitled to any remedies available under those laws.

Children, updates and contact

If you cannot legally enter the applicable agreements on your own, use Steggy only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian as required by law. An App Store content age rating does not itself establish legal capacity or consent.

We may update this page to reflect changes to the app, subscriptions or legal requirements, showing the revised date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law; an update does not remove rights already accrued.
